This shamanic ceremonial rattle has been lovingly created with a Silky Oak wood Handle and a Gourd rattle head.
The Silky Oak handle is made from naturally fallen wood found on my Meditative walks, I then work with the wood to create a beautiful handle through sanding and sealing.
The Gourd head has be carefully picked for good sound resenonse and spectacular patterns. 
I then remove the insides of the gourd and sand the gourd outer and seal to reveal it's unique pattern, then fill with 33 white beans that represent significant parts of the energy system.
The result is a  spectacular rattle .
Rattles are wonderful tools for meditation, trance and also for relaxation or body work.
The "Shaman's rattle" is used for opening and closing sacred ritual spaces as well as for clarifying the energy of persons and rooms.
In addition to the drum, the rattle is, and it has been from the beginning of times, one of the most important shaman instruments worldwide.
